                                             Polestar designed the imaging hybrid car polestar 1 and this is the first production car made by the Polestar. It is well known for their performance which is produced by the petrol engine and with two electric motors. For increasing their performance by reducing the weight and for improving the handling they used carbon fibre in polestar that is ten times stronger and five times lighter than steel. The entire upper body of polestar 1 is carbon fibre reinforced polymer but the true carbon fibre game game-changer is the dragonfly, a CFRP patch bounded to the steel underbody to increase the torsional stiffness by 45%.
