Polestar 1

                                            

Polestar designed the imaging hybrid car polestar 1 and this is the first production car made by the Polestar. It is well known for their performance which is produced by the petrol engine and with two electric motors. For increasing their performance by reducing the weight and for improving the handling they used carbon fibre in polestar that is ten times stronger and five times lighter than steel. The entire upper body of polestar 1 is carbon fibre reinforced polymer but the true carbon fibre game game-changer is the dragonfly, a CFRP patch bounded to the steel underbody to increase the torsional stiffness by 45%. The dragonfly glued into place and fired in the oven at 85 degrees for 45 minutes, also strengthens this traditionally weak point.    

Performance Electrification-

Polestar 1 delivers 600 hp with the help of two electric motors, the internal combustion engine, and Integrated Starter Generator(ISG). Electric motors drive the rear wheels and the petrol engine drives the front wheel. the combustion engine is a high performance in-line four-cylinder engine turbocharged and supercharged.

Triple battery power 34kWh-

With there latest chemistry, polestar 1 used three battery stacks one in the tunnel and two at the rear. the weight distribution is good because of their unique positioning of stacks, 48% weight on the front wheels and the 52% on the rear wheels 

                                  

Design-

Polestar 1 design is outstanding because of the use of carbon fibre which is dramatically influenced the design and the roof sections are also awesome with elegant lines and it is slim, light and their beautiful design from the top of the windscreen to the upper edge of the rear mirror.

                                   

  Another imaging thing in design is the Active rear spoiler, which delivers high-speed downforce on the rear axle. It is automatically activated when the speeds exceed 100km/h and go to their initial position when speed reduces below 70km/h.

Interior Design-

The interior design is featured with handcrafted leather and their imaging high-end sound system.
